lots of sand between my toes....

Today was such a wonderful day! After spending last night hosting my very own, personal pity party, I spent the day at New Brighton Beach with D, her boys, and my boys. The weather was absolutely amazing and the water was calm and soft.

D and I had a great time watching the boys play and swim. It was SO relaxing. We visited, laughed, and told wonderful stories. I feel a wonderful kinship with her and really enjoy having her as my friend. It has been a little while....She is so open, honest, and frank, I really appreciate it. It is SO refreshing!!

Brendan had a great time learning to boogie board!! In his own words "This is SO awesome!"

I am proud of him-- he stepped out of his little box and did something completely new, on his own, and really enjoyed it.

I am completely exhausted, completely renewed, and completely content.
